Take In The Trash...
Sunday was Trash pick-up day in Toledo...Heavy Trash, that is. Jon Spencer rolled into town (@ Frankie's Inner City) with his rock-a-billy side project last night and caused quite the ruckus. Backed by the members of Danish band, Power Solo, guitarist Matt Verta-Ray & Mr. Spencer delivered their high energy revival style blues. Ya hate to see a powerful show like that poorly attended, but that didn't stop these guys from tearing through their material. Heavy Trash is just the right amount of frantic, filthy fun...it may be starting to smell, but it ain't rotten yet. Who can rock?...THE TRASH CAN! (get it, the trash can...where does this stuff come from). Go see this band!*Got some photos up on FLICKR

best show of the year
One of the best shows of the year indeed! Attendance in Toledo is hit or miss, with 10 days to promote and being a Sunday night, I give kudos to those who attended.
Look for more out of Frankie's! Such as HOLLY GOLIGHTLY, GRAND BUFETT, BLIND MELON, UNKNOWN HINSON, RYAN BINGHAM and the DEAD HORSES, NEBULA and many many more....
