The Roots Bringin' Dope to Detroit...

The Roots were originally scheduled to play in Detroit with Gym Class Heroes at the Fillmore...that show was canceled, but the band is pressing on with a show at Saint Andrews Hall on October 25th. Philly's finest have been spending some time lately stumping for Obama. As a matter of fact the Okayplayer Store is now offering these "Obama-Shepard Fairey" knock off shirts that feature a presidential Questlove. Maybe Obama could use Questo for a new cabinet position...Secretary of Dope Beats!
